Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 June 2026

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Tricoat Painting website at tricoatpainting.com.au and your interaction with us through it. By using this website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. They do not themselves form a contract for painting work — any work we do for you is governed by a separate written quote and agreement, described below.

About us

This website is operated by Tricoat Painting, a painting business based in Thomastown, VIC, servicing Melbourne's northern and eastern suburbs. You can reach us at alex.tricoatpainting@gmail.com or 0401 577 895.

Using this website

You may browse the site, read our content, submit quote requests and contact us. You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, hack or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
  • submit automated, bulk or fraudulent enquiries, or impersonate another person;
  • submit false, misleading or offensive content through our forms.

Quote requests & how an agreement is formed

Submitting a quote request through this site does notcreate a binding agreement and does not obligate either of us. It's simply a request for us to get in touch. We'll respond, discuss your project, and — where it's a fit — provide a written quote setting out the scope, inclusions, price and timing for your specific job.

A painting agreement is only formed when you accept that written quote (in writing, or by clearly instructing us to proceed). The terms of that written quote govern the work, including price, scope, preparation, materials, access, payment and timing. If anything in the written quote differs from these website terms, the written quote applies to your job.

Quotes & pricing

Quotes are based on the information available to us and a site assessment where applicable. A quote is an estimate for the scope described in it and is valid for the period stated on the quote. If the scope changes, hidden conditions are uncovered, or you request additional work, we'll discuss and agree any variation with you before proceeding. Any indicative figures or ranges on this website are general information only and are not a quote or offer.

Your consumer rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms or in any quote limits or removes those rights. For a plain-English summary of the guarantees that apply to our work, and of any workmanship guarantee we offer, see our Consumer Guarantees page.

Reviews, photos & content

Text, images, logos and other content on this site belong to Tricoat Painting or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. Photographs of completed work are shown with the property owner's permission. Customer reviews shown on the site are genuine and, where attributed to Google, are drawn from our public Google Business Profile. If you believe any content here shouldn't be public, contact us and we'll address it.

Privacy

How we handle the information you provide is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie & Data Collection Notice.

Availability & accuracy

We provide this website in good faith and aim to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and content may change without notice. Information on the site is general in nature and shouldn't be relied on as professional advice for your specific situation.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Links to other sites

Our site may link to third-party websites (for example our Google Business Profile). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and the version in force when you submit an enquiry applies to that enquiry.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
